This necklace is a love letter to my favorite philly treat: the soft pretzel. A true philly soft pretzel (and arguable the one true soft pretzel, period) is not shaped like 🥨. This is the real (philly) deal.
The pretzel pendant is made of bronze, with sterling silver salt bits, each added individually. No two pretzels are exactly alike, but they are all super sweet and measure about one inch in length.
Pendant comes on an adjustable waxed cotton cord. For an additional $20, you can upgrade to a 1mm sterling silver rolo chain with adjustable links allowing you to adjust the necklace from 20 inches to 21 inches. You can choose a silver chain or waxed cotton cord when you purchase.

bronze is a gorgeous, warm yellow metal with deep, ancient roots in jewelry-making. It will naturally patina over time (as will sterling silver!), and you can keep it clean with a silver polishing cloth or allow it to change over time. The piece has been finished with renaissance wax, an archival finishing material that slows patination. You can re-wax the piece a few times a year to keep it sealed (buy the tiniest jar you can, a teeny tiny bit of wax goes a long way!)
