This hair clip was made out of necessity. Like any good Philadelphian, I’d been searching for a soft pretzel hair clip. But after much searching, all I could find were the WRONG pretzels.
Philly knows pretzels aren’t shaped like 🥨. Philly pretzels are a perfect figure 8, made for hand-holding and generous ribbons of mustard.
It’s our culinary pride, our snack served from stolen shopping carts outside the stadium, the best day at school (pretzel day!), and possibly more Philly than the cheesesteak or the tiny billy penn statue secreted at the top of the Comcast building.
Clips are about three inches in length, have a strong spring clip, and feature tiny pearl salt crystals. Yum!
